Building a Team for Successful Shared Governance |
|
A great bounty of benefits can be gained when parents are involved as decision-making partners in your Head Start program. Combining a well-functioning parent committee, active and involved policy making groups, and an informed agency governing body all lead to a successful shared governance team. Once again, the Florida Head Start Association is pleased to provide a training session designed to serve as an orientation for new parents, staff, and community representatives, and to build upon the experience and skills of seasoned policy group members and veteran staff.
